Waste Oil Recycling Plants

Used oil re-refining solutions

PRT has the competence for recycling slops and ballast issued from all port facilities upon BASEL and MARPOL agreements. Such plants are operating for years in various part of the world.

Environmental problems become an international priority all over the world and our project come to provide some maritime solutions as well as economic added value.

With an initial investment of 1,2 million US$ for the recycling unit (RP.RU.) we will achieved a payback around 3 years and high profitability After collecting slops issued from tankers and ships arriving at load and disport, a first mechanical process of separation of oil and water, allowed to obtain a residue with a water content of 5% which is ready to be processed.

RPRu system consist of a mini refinery unit working under semi-atmospheric conditions.

Raw material is moved from a storage tank to the column in order to be split into two distillates: a LIGHT CUT ( gasoline) 15% and HEAVY FUEL +/- 85%. Gasoline is cooled, and stored in a tank_ The fuel is stored in another tank.

Marketing and sales of the products will be assumed by the manager of the plant since this is mainly a B to B business:

  • Gasoline to be sell to .
  • Refineries, blenders, electricity plants, ..
  • Heavy fuel to be sale to :
  • Bunker for Tankers
  • Cement works
  • Industries with high calorific needs

Our products can be sold on the domestic market between 25 to 35% cheaper than standard products issued from

  • WASTE WATER TREATMENT (OPTION)
  • BASIC PLANT REQUIREMENT AND CAPACITY.
  • GENERAL FLOW CHART.
